“MATKA” is the largest international tourism exhibition in the Nordic countries and one of the most important industry exhibitions in the world, which was visited by approximately 53,000 visitors and tourism industry professionals last year.
“Via Hanseatica” is an international tourism route. In Latvia and Estonia, it leads from Riga, through Tartu, to Narva. It is based on the important trade routes of the Hanseatic period, and here history goes hand in hand with the contemporary. Travelers in both countries are invited to get to know undiscovered places, to see the already known in a new light – historic castles and manors, exciting nature trails and local flavors.
Participation in the exhibition is organized in cooperation with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia and the Vidzeme Planning Region.
