Driving from the side of Riga, before Viresu bridge on the right side of the road there is a protected big tree-locust tree of local significance, the circumference of which reaches 2.50 metres.
The locals say that there used to be a large apple orchard, but during war it was destroyed and only one apple tree remained.
The most beatiful view is at the end of May, when the wild apple blossoms. You can combine sightseeing with a walk on the Tilderi nature trail, which is right next door.
